1. General Information:
- Date: The SynTech-X Hackathon will take place on 9th & 10th February 2024.
- Venue: The event will be conducted at RD National College Campus.
- Team Formation: Teams must consist of at least 2 to 5 members. Team formation is flexible, allowing participants to choose their teammates.
- Code Repository: All code must be committed to the central code repository on GitHub throughout the event.
- Duration: The Hackathon will run for the entire day on 9th February 2024, during which teams will conceptualize, code, and present their projects.
- Entry Fee: Participants are required to pay an entry fee of ₹100/-

Kick-off Session:
- A kick-off session will be conducted at the start of the event to explain rules, answer queries, and provide essential details.

Submission Time:
- Round 1 - Idea Submission: Participants must submit their ideas in the form of PPTs or PDFs via WhatsApp before 5th February 2024. Qualifying teams will be notified. The presentation should be a maximum of 4 pages, including: 1. Idea (Title), 2. Working, 3 Tools.
- Round 2 - Implementation: SynTech-X Hackathon will be held on RD National College Campus on 9th February 2024, from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. The submission of each project is expected before Round 2 finishes.
- Round 3 - Judging: Teams will exhibit a short presentation of their ideas and projects to the judges on 10th February 2024, starting at 9:00 am. The implementations will be judged on the accounts of various factors such as Progress, Innovation, Interaction, Creativity, Feasibility, and User Interface.

Judging Panel:
- A panel of judges comprising experienced professionals and industry experts will evaluate projects based on predefined criteria.

Participant Guidelines:
- Code of Conduct: Participants must adhere to the event’s code of conduct, promoting a respectful and collaborative environment.
- Resources: A list of available resources, including APIs, datasets, and tools, will be provided. Participants may also bring their tools.
- Mentors: Mentors will be available for technical assistance and guidance. Scheduled mentor check-ins will be held.
- Progress Updates: Teams are encouraged to provide regular progress updates. Short presentations or demonstrations will be scheduled at predefined intervals.
- Team Collaboration: Collaboration and knowledge sharing among teams are encouraged. Teams may seek assistance from mentors or other teams.

Scoring Scheme:
- Projects will be evaluated based on the following criteria, with respective weights:
- Innovation and Creativity (30 points): Uniqueness and creativity of the solution.
- Technical Complexity (25 points): Complexity of the coding, use of advanced algorithms, etc.
- Functionality (20 points): How well the solution meets the problem statement.
- User Experience (UX) (15 points): Intuitiveness and user-friendliness of the solution.
- Presentation (10 points): Quality of the pitch, clarity of communication.
